Anyone Quebecois or fluent in French-Canadian able to translate this?

"Ete criss tout sa da bouss!"

("bouss" could be "bouys" -- it's a little messy)

Something about crying and boiling... sorry, can't give you much more than that.

*laughing* It looks like "Christ all over your mouth!" but somehow ... I think that's probably not it.

I'll ask Geoff when he gets home, if no one else has answered it.

Geoff wonders if this is something handwritten? Can you scan it? Because the way it's written, those words just don't seem to make sense.

I assumed criss = cris and bouss = bous. But I can't really figure out what this is saying.

I've been out of Quebecois French (Joual) for a few years, but here's my take.

I *think* the first part is "Et criss tout ça" -- criss (Christ) can be turned into a verb that means "stick" in the sense of sticking something into something else, so this fragment reads "And stick all that".

"Da Bouss"... Da might be short for "Dans" (in), and "Bouss" might be a slang for "Bouche" (mouth). I'll verify with my brother (who lives in Quebec) and see what he thinks.

So... if I'm following all this. It means "And stick that in your mouth" ? Kinda like "put that in your pipe and smoke it"?

Any chance it's Flemish, rather than French?

(Sadlym, Babblefish doesn't do Flemish.)

Looks something like "summer cries all the .." (or at all the?) I'm thinking bouss might be slangy for "kiss" or something to do with a mouth, as it's not far from the french for mouth.

But yup... you're going to have to find someone from that area to figure it out, because best I can figure it, it's slang... and not easily translated, as part of that is a spelling shift most likely.

My Québécois brother's only insight was that the last word might be "boues" (mud), so it might be: "Été criss tout ça da(ns) boues!" or "Summer? Christ, all this mud!" Was there a lot of mud about when you saw them...?
