I can't say I disagree with most of it. ::sigh::

I just tried to fight my LiveTrumps card, and they're down for usage issues. There was a link to "100 Million Spiders" which is a social networking experiment (like SixDegrees was). I started my network here if you would like to join -- I expect our friends and our friends' friends will quickly be very large. :)

I'm kind of ashamed to admit that I don't practice music, but I guess I do. When I'm in a choral group, I tend to just sing when at rehearsals, which are generally sufficient for me to learn the music. If it's a smaller group, I sing on the fly -- when I'm sitting around, or when I'm driving. I remember preparing for an audition years ago and driving to a little ren faire in PA and singing The Bobs' "My Husband Was A Weatherman" about 12 million times (with a cassette, no less).

Or, in the case of IOC, we've been known to practice in conference rooms at Freddie Mac, in the PR camp, at Darcy's dining room table, in Jill's bedroom, in my kitchen while whipping up gazpacho, or ( here )

I've cheated just a little bit, because this is the view from that window, but I took it from the deck the floor below (so's to avoid the muntins and mullions and screen, yo). This is what I see when I look out my office window in the summertime -- the tree in the middle turns beautiful colors in the autumn.
