I've also gotten about $70 over the past year ($5/$10 at a time) for various surveys on NPDOR or SurveySpot.com. :D

$5/10 per survey isn't so much a "prize" as a random salary for your time spent. I guess I figure my time is worth at least that already.

I won a t-shirt from the Discovery Channel once for being able to identify a photo of a cherry pitter on one of their contest webpages. Wheeeeeeee!

Hey, t-shirts are useful too! (though, yeah... I'd rather have what she got, too :-)

And oh, darn... cherry pitters are *easy*... had two different types to play with at the Smithsonian until one disappeared, and the other went away with the Hands on History room, and didn't re-appear on the "What Is It" cart.
