hokey smoke, Bullwinkle!
Dec. 10th, 2006 04:57 pmWe do not have bats in our belfry (which is what I would have renamed the attic if we had).
We have at least one nest of flying squirrels (aka sugar gliders), though. And one of them popped up and looked at me and he was SOOOOO CUUUUUUUUUUTE! The guy said that if we wait a couple of weeks, the babies (of which this was one) will be old enough so that when they are live trapped and relocated, they'll be able to survive on their own. And then another guy will crawl all over the roof and seal up the little cracks through which they entered -- we have a LOT of gables, and there are small holes where some of them weren't seamed to each other properly.
(thankfully, they're not harmful, so waiting a bit doesn't mean damage)
