I bought a shoe rack over at Jellyfish last week, and it arrived today.

Closet floor, before	Closet corner, before

That's most of my shoes. I have some really nice pairs that live in their bags in their boxes, and then a buttload of moccasins and dance shoes, and I think two boxes in an upstairs closet, contents generally unknown.

But now I can SEE them!

Those are suede Stuart Weitzmans with a piece that ties around the ankle with satin cords, with a simple band over the toes.

awesome!!! i totally need a shoe rack. only, i need a closet door shoe rack. the one we bought at Target fits the closet door, but it's too wide to close the door! so ANNOYED am i!

i hate shoes all piled up on the closet floor. i can't ever find anything and i don't even have half that many shoes.

I'm a shoe-aholic who owned over 60 pairs...
A couple months ago I attacked my shoe-pile and split them into keepers aned non-keepers. The non-keeper box including all those shoes that I hadn't worn since the move (nice shoes to be donated were separated from old worn-out shoes that were thrown out)...
I think I narrowed the keepers down to 20-30 pair.
It was so liberating, I celebratde by going shoe shopping!! (what is it about shoes, anyway?? Can't ever get enough.)
