For $10/6 months or $15/year, you can join the National Arbor Day Foundation, and you get 10 free trees! They have a bunch of different packages - evergreens, flowering, bird-attracting, etc. And then you get discounts off other trees if you want to buy more.

I ordered 18 trees today for $51 including shipping. Okay, they're all between 1-2', but they'll grow! :)

and grow they will! i received my trees years ago, well, my bundle of sticks with a little bit of earth and roots at the bottom of each one. Well, they flourished in my yeard, until the Goodely Wyfe mowed down the line of evergreens, but there is one flowering tree that is taller than us now and doing very, very well!
