MDRF!

In Our Cups will be back at MDRF this year, for two weekends -- September 9 & 10, and September 30 & October 1. That way, we can wear hot weather garb AND cold weather garb! Plan your visits for your preferred Cup-look accordingly -- easy breezy beautiful, or in search of someone warm to snuggle. :)

...of you guys in Turks? Please?

I'm in process of figuring out how to build this year's faire wardrobe, and I think Turks is the way to go without feeling like I've a large target painted on my equally large and non-flat belleh. :)

Tribal will wait until I've had enough lessons that, if asked, I can actually dance. A little. :)

Also, had a kitty-matching-dawg moment the other day. Our new kitten came into the living room all Shepherd-like -- trottrottrot, complete with waving (wagging?) tail, when the baby made a noise that startled him, he went, "PFFFT!" with trill on the end, puffed like a cotton ball, and took off in a blur.

Funniest thing I've seen since he fell off the bed trying to jump up, then washed his back leg in classic, "It wasn't me, it was some other cat" fashion. :)

There are, but I haven't seen them yet. Mr. Darcy took a pile, and then A Cute Bellydancer Drummer Boy took some that he said he would mail to us, and I think Vyxen got some of us on stage, and for sure has front, back and midaxillary of me.

The best thing about Turks is of course that a non-flat belleh is almost required. I say almost because of That Skinny BitchTM.

Hmm.... wonder if I'll manage to catch you guys *this* year... I swear your shows have even worse timing than the Pyrates do (at least I got to hear them during much of the morning stage show most of the days this year)

I think I caught *a* song in 2004... don't have a memory of managing it this past year (only time I thought I could, was one that your schedule had changed, and no one was there when I thought you were)
