Faxed off the notarized stuff to the Heineken people, and confirmed they received everything, so we're good to go on the NCAA trip! Still don't know what hotel we'll be in yet, though. I've made arrangements for Mr. The Dog to board at the vet's, and need to call and make brunch reservations.

I also received the gift cheques from the Smithsonian magazine poll sweepstakes, which took a month longer than they'd originally said. I think my noodge email the other day might have helped.

I am told that replacement Billy Joel CDs are on their way to me, but until I hold them in my hot little hands, I won't believe it. This is the second order from Overstock.com that I've had a problem with -- luckily, in both cases the item was for me, and not a gift. Hopefully, I'll remember that next time they come up with the least expensive price. :)

Am waiting to hear back from my boss -- after days of silence, he went a little nuts yesterday and today. Of course now that I'm here, and have built him something that I think he wants, he's not answering email. I hope he gets back to me before we leave for squad duty.

AND, I got a call from the fire/police/EMS place that my shirt and jacket have been embroidered with my name (we dropped the off yesterday), so perhaps tonight I'll look official. The dog is blowing coat like no one's business, so it may be more prudent to wear the ugly white shirt, rather than the navy polo, though. (He's currently lying here in the office, with his chin on the floor, occasionally opening one eye.)

Tonight -- ambulance duty, and a meatless dinner. Knowing this crew, that will hopefully be Mexican, hopefully *not* cheap Italian, but could always be Wawa. I <3 Wawa.

OH! On Monday, I will be having a party! Actually, it will be Monday through Wednesday, and YOU are invited! And you don't even have to drive! Details on Monday. ;)
