We have the flying squirrels in our neighborhood, too. They are so fast and so small, the neighbors have taken to baiting them with peanut butter on a tree. They come flying in from seemingly all over and land with a barely audible "tic" as their little claws hit the bark.

Very cool find! And I would love to see at least ATTEMPTS at your photos! I haven't gotten close enough or with a decent enough camera. :^)
