Try clicking on the "start your network" button -- I have more orange buttons on the side than you do. I have "my home page", "add your picture", "spin new thread", "update my details", "search users", "random user", view my bookmarks", "add new bookmark", and "blog my network" all in orange. In blue under that are separate lists for "friends", "family members", "work colleagues", and "college friends".
